ARTS EVERYWHERE GRANTS
Arts Everywhere supports arts innovation, learning, and engagement at UNC, providing funding to faculty, staff, students, departments, programs, and centers. Each year our list of grants awarded will grow, as will our network of grant-related content.
More information about next year’s grant cycle will be available October 2019.
CAROLINA CREATIVE CASH
These awards are considered on a rolling basis to help support art supply and project needs. Undergraduate and graduate students, as well as student groups, are eligible to apply. Individual students may submit a proposal (preferably two weeks in advance) for up to $100, and student groups may submit for up to $500 (with funds being split amongst members or disbursed to one designated member). We are open to considering slightly larger requests, but we ask that students schedule a meeting with Arts Everywhere staff when a higher request is needed and before submitting a proposal.
Students must share documentation of their spending with Arts Everywhere, in the form of receipts and a brief report (a 1-2 paragraph reflection statement) within 1 month of their completing the project/using the funds.
Awards are given to one undergrad and one graduate student to exhibit or perform an original work on UNC’s campus. Students will receive $500 each to create their piece, which must be displayed or performed on campus within a year after receiving the award.
An interdisciplinary committee of faculty and staff members from across the university’s arts departments and institutions will select the two recipients, and the winners will be announced at a small ceremony each April.
