Lead Student Coordinator
Parker Harris is a sophomore student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, studying Dramatic Art and Performance Studies with a minor in Education and is the Lead Student Coordinator for Arts Everywhere. He also serves as the Founding Artistic Director for Kids On Stage, a youth community theatre group based in Greene County.
At Kids On Stage, he has helmed innovative productions like Frozen JR and the World Premiere of A Country Carol, in which he wrote the script.
Among other things, he is vocal about his support for the arts and their importance in our communities, particularly rural areas. He is an advocate for accessible arts education and experiences for youth. He was the 2019 recipient of the Freddie G Inspiration Award at the Junior Theater Festival and was a part of The Free Press’s 2019 class of 20 under 40 recipients.
Helen is a Morehead-Cain scholar and is starting her junior year. She plans on majoring in Economics and Global studies, but hopes to create a minor in arts administration!
She grew up in Chicago, Illinois and moved to Park City, Utah when she was ten – although she went to boarding school in Culver, Indiana for high school. She spent the summer in Valparaiso, Chile where she became very interested in street art and did a research project about Banksy.
Madison is in her senior year at UNC Chapel Hill and majors in German and Comparative Literature. Passionate about learning languages and traveling, she hopes to one day master German and perhaps French (if she can muster the diligence).
As she begins her third year working for Arts Everywhere, the ongoing collaborations with student groups and programming opportunities makes her even more excited than ever about Arts Everywhere’s bright future. In her free time she enjoys traveling, baking goods to satisfy her sweet tooth, and learning karate. She wishes you, “Einen wunderschönen Tag!”
Digital Marketing Student Assistant
Morgan is a senior in the Hussman School of Journalism and Media at UNC. She is majoring in advertising and public relations and has two minors in sexuality studies and social and economic justice.
This is her first year with Arts Everywhere and she is incredibly excited to join the team. Above all, she is honored to be a part of an organization that believes wholeheartedly in its mission to enrich life at Carolina through the arts. Her experience spans the likes of venues from comedy clubs to opera halls- you could definitely say she feels right at home in entertainment spaces!
A lover of all mediums and methods of art, Morgan is more than happy to learn about whatever kind of art ignites you the most. Feel free to tell her about your favorites- she might not exactly know what you’re talking about- but she’ll never say no to learning about people’s greatest passions.
