Sadie Allen (she/her/hers)

Morrison Art Studio Coordinator, 2021-

Sadie Allen is a sophomore from Saluda, North Carolina with a passion for art, travelling, and fashion. Before starting her education at UNC, she volunteered with the Polk County Library system and wrote on her personal blog. Sadie took a gap year through Campus Y’s Global Gap Year Fellowship, where she lived in Xi’an, China, and Split, Croatia. This experience gave her a strong passion for cultural exchange, as well as fueled her passion for learning about and creating art. Previously, she has worked for Chinese language non-profits, local artists, and the Asheville Art Museum.

At UNC, she is double majoring in Media and Journalism and Studio Art. She is involved with Honors Carolina and Chinese Conversation Club, and she hopes to connect with more organizations in the future. At Arts Everywhere, Sadie is excited to inspire creative expression in all students, whether they are art majors or not! She hopes to foster creativity in the general student body and share the value of art with others.
