One Month of Solitude Writing Competition

The Arts Everywhere editorial board, representing the short story dispensers, is happy to announce that it will be hosting the One Month of Solitude Writing Competition!

Humans are social animals, but during this time of isolation, let’s gather together by sharing stories. We ask for creative non-fiction, fiction and poetry that explore the themes of isolation, identity, and/or community. Like Márquez’s magical realism which inspires our contest title, we encourage submissions that stretch the realist genre and delve into the fantastic. All submissions must be 250-500 words in length (this word length does not apply to poetry submissions.) Submit here: https://unc.short-edition.com by Thursday, May 14, at midnight and be sure to indicate that your submission is for consideration in our One Month of Solitude Writing Competition. Happy writing! 🙂
