Join us for Kicks & Colorways: A Conversation About Sneaker Culture and Sneaker Design, a virtual event with Jason Mayden about the relationship between hip hop and the sneaker industry. From Nike Air Force 1s to Adidas Yeezys, sneakers have had their own unique place within the culture. They are featured in music videos, talked about in songs, worn on stage, and seen in photos from social outings to the red carpet. Hip hop artists have been hired by sneaker brands as consultants and held positions as creative directors with shoe companies.
