Featuring Olga Kleiankina, pianist.

Kleiankina is an active solo and chamber music performer with an international career. She has performed with orchestras from Moldova, Romania, United States and Russia with conductors Emil Simon, Robert Houlihan, Zsolt Janko, Randolph Foy and Jeffrey Meyer. Besides her interest and expertise in Classical and Romantic music, she is an enthusiastic performer of new music promoting works of North Carolinian composers Karel Husa, Rodney Waschka, and J. Mark Scearce.

The historic heart of the music department in the College of Arts and Sciences, Hill Hall reopened in 2016 after an 18-month, $15-million renovation. Work centered on improvements to Hill Hall’s 430-seat auditorium and rotunda. The performance space was renamed the James and Susan Moeser Auditorium in honor of the former chancellor and his wife, who are organists and teachers at UNC.
