Description

Join the UNC Latina/o Studies Program for a reading with Yesenia Montilla, Afro-Latina poet & a daughter of immigrants. She will be reading poems from her debut collection The Pink Box as well as her upcoming collection Muse Found in a Colonized Body. Her themes are steeped in identity, the immigrant & Black experience, colonization & survival. The reading will be followed by a Q&A.
