Join Carolina Public Humanities over Zoom for a celebration and exploration of Black Poetry today. Thanks to the generous support of our community, this program is FREEĀ and open to the publicā€”contributions are welcome! The event will include a discussion of the role and importance of verse in the black community, the interplay between common themes and individual voices, as well as poetry readings from three important local poets: Tyree Daye, Crystal Simone Smith, and CJ Suitt.
